Sheltra Motorsports Makes “The Other Patrick” Decals Available To Fans

MOORESVILLE, North Carolina (February 18, 2010) - - When the Sheltra Motorsports team bolted on the “Sheltra #60 … the other Patrick” decal on their No. 60 PowerTrac Machinery Dodge Charger at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway earlier this month, the team did not realize that the sticker in reference to the Danica Patrick mania would instantly become a fan favorite.

With the decal demands still pedaling in following Sheltra’s fifth place performance at the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona, the Sheltra Motorsports team decided to give the fans with what they wanted; a chance of owning a little piece of history.

“It’s a pretty cool decal,” said Sheltra. “Even Danica’s management staff took one at Daytona for her because they thought it was a cool idea. We tried to take the attention away from her during the race and I think we succeeded to a point.”

He added, “This decal is just something fun for everyone. You can hold onto a little piece of history with Danica Patrick making her stock car debut with the ARCA Racing Series and we (Sheltra Motorsports) were able to be a part of it.”

The decals which are available through patricksheltra.com are available for $4.50 which includes shipping. The proceeds from the sales will be filtered through the Patrick Sheltra Foundation – with the Indiantown, Florida native picking which of his charities will receive the donation.
